Pick what you make. Codex costs the materials against your specs and return rate, then shows the real profit, margin and silver per focus on every craft.
Pick a line in the ledger below, or search. Every craftable is ranked against your specs and live 7d avg prices.
A tool that works out whether turning raw materials into refined goods is worth your silver. It compares the cost of the raw materials against what the refined version sells for.
Refining is one of the steadier ways to earn, taking gathered materials like ore or hide and turning them into the refined goods that crafters need, but the profit is thin and swings with prices, so it is easy to lose silver without realising. This checks the numbers for you on live prices before you commit a batch. It uses your character's real refining skill, so the share of materials that come back to you is counted as yours and not a generic estimate.
Pick the material you want to refine and set its tier. The tool fills in current prices and shows your profit per batch once fees are taken out. A green number means refining is worth it right now, and a red number means the raw materials cost more than the refined goods are fetching.
Refining margins are usually thin and swing with prices, so a batch that paid yesterday can lose silver today. This calculator compares the cost of raw materials against what the refined goods sell for, after the station fee, so you can check a batch is worth it before you commit.
A share of your raw materials comes back on each refine, set by the Royal city bonus, focus use, and your refining mastery and specialisation. Higher returns mean cheaper effective costs. The calculator uses your real Destiny Board levels, so the returned materials are counted accurately for your character.
Each Royal city boosts the return rate for one material, so the best city depends on whether you are refining ore, hide, fiber, wood or stone. Refining a material in its bonus city lowers your cost per batch.
Faction refining is a recipe variant that swaps one raw material for a biome heart bought from the market. It can be cheaper when hearts are priced well. The calculator shows both the standard and faction recipes as separate rows so you can pick whichever wins right now.
