About this tool

Potion Crafting Calculator

What is this?

A tool that works out whether brewing potions to sell will make you silver. It compares the cost of the herbs and ingredients against what the finished potions sell for.

Why use it?

Potions get used a lot in fights, for healing and for shrugging off damage, so there is always a market for them, but herb prices change and can quietly eat your profit. This checks the maths for you before you commit a whole batch. It uses your character's real potion-making skill, so the share of ingredients that come back to you is counted as yours rather than a rough guess, and it prices on the 7-day traded average so the result reflects what is actually selling.

How to use it?

Pick the potion you want to brew and set its tier. The tool fills in current ingredient and selling prices and shows your likely profit per potion after fees. A green number means it is worth brewing, and a red number means the ingredients cost more than you would get back.

Frequently asked

Questions about the Potion Crafting Calculator

Is brewing potions profitable in Albion Online?

Potions are always in demand for healing and combat, but herb prices change and can eat your profit. This calculator weighs ingredient cost against the selling price, after fees, so you can check a batch is worth it before you brew.

How does my potion mastery affect profit?

Higher potion mastery and specialisation return more of your ingredients on each brew, lowering your real cost. The calculator uses your character's actual Destiny Board levels once synced, so those returns are counted accurately rather than guessed.

Where do I brew potions for the best bonus?

Brecilien is the specialty city for potions, so its crafting bonus helps when you brew there, and the market tools show which city pays best for a given potion before you list it.
