Often, but it depends on the item, your specialization, and the city you craft in. Margins move with the market, so the only honest answer is to price the specific craft. This calculator does that live: it pulls current prices, applies your return rate, and shows net silver per craft after tax and focus.
Profit = sell price minus material cost, station fee, and tax, plus journal income, with material cost reduced by your Return Rate (the chance to get materials back). The calculator handles all of it - including focus cost and your spec-adjusted return rate - so you do not have to do the math by hand.
Yes. Set your mastery and specialization levels right in the calculator (no account needed - they save in your browser), or sync your real board with the Codex client. Your specs change the Return Rate and therefore the profit, so the numbers are personal to your character.
Each city gives a +15% specialty bonus to certain item categories, which raises your Return Rate. The calculator can auto-pick the bonus city per item, or you can lock a city. See the city bonus map in the best-city-to-craft guide.
Yes - the dedicated Albion Online refining calculator lives on the Refining tab. It turns raw ore, wood, fiber, hide, and stone into refined bars, planks, cloth, leather, and stone blocks, and shows your profit per batch after the station fee and your refining Return Rate, covering both the standard and faction-warfare recipes so you can see which is cheaper before you commit a run.
